Principal Systems/Software & Test Engineer - Cleared

Active Secret Clearance or Above Required
The Integration & Test Engineer plans and performs Integration & Test (I&T) assignments involving definition of integration plans and sequences relative to complex software and hardware subsystems and resolves identified conflicting issues.
Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
Participates in a complex I&T program which includes establishing methods and techniques, planning tests, developing test requirements, writing I&T procedures and reports, and conducting tests utilizing comprehensive knowledge of these complex subsystems.
Participates in I&T readiness reviews, participates in design reviews, and conducts audits of I&T programs and facilities.
Utilizes a broad knowledge of precedents in I&T engineering and applies understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
Conducts tests, which include collaborating with others in establishing language, database, and computer simulation requirements and configuration management techniques.
8+ years demonstrated engineering experience with proven track record.
Integration/Test engineering experience on a government software development contract.
Experience preparing and executing Integration/Test procedures.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving SW system execution problems.
Experience with script development (Python, Perl, CECIL).
Experience utilizing discrepancy report systems.
Experience with systems engineering principles and activities.
Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
Experience with ground station satellite domains (command and telemetry, flight dynamics or mission planning)
Test Automation (Eggplant, Cucumber, Gherkin)
Experience with Java or C++
Preferred Education/Experience:
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
