Onsite in Dulles, VA or Dallas, TX metro area (candidate preference)
Active DOD TS/SCI clearance is required.
Certifications: CompTIA Security+ (or must be willing to obtain within a month of joining the program)
Skills and Experience:
- Experience performing hands-on Full Stack development
- Advanced Java application development experience
- Messaging brokers like ActiveMQ
- Experience with SOA gateways
- Understanding of design patterns, experience with Spring Framework, developing web services utilizing RESTFul API, SOAP API
- experience w/ troubleshooting applications and infrastructure on Linux based Operating Systems
- experience w/ Agile tool sets (ideally JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)
- experience w/ building associated automated unit and smoke tests for developed code.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies, migration to Cloud, containerization, and AWS for the program's future planned modernization efforts
- experience developing, testing, and delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework
- Understanding of databases
Preferred Education/Experience:
• BA/BS degree and minimum 10 years’ experience; Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology preferred
