Onsite in Denver Metro Area W2 or 1099 Clearance Required: Interim Secret We are seeking Cleared Linux Engineers to join our team. The qualified candidate will support the development, and maintenance of our modern VMware solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control. Responsibilities may include the implementation of VMWare based tools and products such as: vSphere, VCenter, VROPS, Setup of tools such as VRa, VVols, to name a few; and troubleshoot issues discovered within the environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have an engineering mindset, and be able to troubleshoot complex problems, seeking to understand virtualized design elements in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities to Anticipate: • You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with design, development, implementation, and support of VMware solutions for the system. • You will support software deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program need for the migration efforts. • You will Design, implement, generate code through scripting tools, test, document, and maintain the system. • You will assist with development of build/test and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise computing environments. • You will provide guidance on resource allocation & utilization. • You will assist engineers with VMware tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices. Basic Qualifications: • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience. • U.S. citizenship and current DOD-S security clearance is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. • Thorough background in on premise infrastructure design data center systems • Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and/or network issues. • Experience with vSphere distributed infrastructure for an enterprise Design. |
