Candidate must have a proven record of accomplishment solving complex problems, have some knowledge and understanding of Government, Customer, and configuration management practices and standards, or relatable skills; must be able to work under general supervision, with minimal guidance and direction on managing and prioritizing their workload.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Establish procedures for and implement the introduction of changes to engineering documents for an assigned program and represent the functional group in the implementation of common processes.
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
- Ensures implementation of customer and internal configuration management requirements
- Manage change and status accounting activities to ensure compliance with contractual and configuration management policies.
- Establish and control configuration identification processes and baselines.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- 2 years of professional experience, Configuration and/or Data Management experience preferred.
- Experience with databases (SAP, ERP, PDM, CABS, PRISM, and/or other related databases).
Qualifications We Value:
- General knowledge and understanding of configuration management principles using configuration management policies, procedures, and tools.
- Experience with MSOffice (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Solid competency in project planning
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies.
- Identify potential complex problems associated with technical engineering data, regarding configuration management issues, and take corrective action as needed.
