We’re looking for a Systems Engineer - Junior who enjoys working on complex, high-impact systems and collaborating across engineering teams.
This role supports advanced defense and aerospace systems, focusing on mission-critical technologies used in real-world operational environments.
In this role, you’ll contribute across the full system lifecycle—from concept and design through integration, testing, and production support.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop system solutions
- Support system integration, testing, and validation activities
- Work with models, simulations, prototypes, and hardware/software systems
- Identify risks and support technical decision-making
- Help improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
Responsibilities to Anticipate: - Utilize your knowledge of models, simulations, test beds, prototypes, hardware integration, hardware manufacturing, warfighter (User) methodologies, and embedded test protocols to ensure comprehensive lifecycle testing that is both robust and affordable - Broad customer interaction including Department of Defense (DoD) contract work - Understand and define specialized capital investment needs - Intense focus on ‘customer affordability’, by using effective cost measurement techniques - Drive improvements in product affordability through increased built-in-test capabilities and decreased lifecycle Qualifications You Must Have: - Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of two (2) years of experience directly related engineering experience (or a STEM Masters in lieu of experience) - Systems Engineering experience in test requirements development, test planning, test techniques, test methodologies test requirements documents, embedded functional test, and integration, verification, and validation for test - Past experience demonstrating a systems engineering approach for all test-related activities throughout the product lifecycle.
