We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Mid-Level who enjoys working on complex, high-impact systems and collaborating across engineering teams.
This role supports advanced defense and aerospace systems, focusing on mission-critical technologies used in real-world operational environments.
In this role, you’ll contribute across the full system lifecycle—from concept and design through integration, testing, and production support.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop system solutions
- Support system integration, testing, and validation activities
- Work with models, simulations, prototypes, and hardware/software systems
- Identify risks and support technical decision-making
- Help improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
Responsibilities to Anticipate: Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum five (5) years of work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of work experience Minimum of five (5) years of technical / engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support Minimum of three (3) years experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis Experience creating mechanical drawing packages The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Value: Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM) Experience with cable design, specifically CREO Schematic
