Clearance Required: Secret (Interim acceptable)

We’re looking for a System Safety Engineer, Principal P4 - Cleared on site who enjoys working on complex, high-impact systems and collaborating across engineering teams.

This role supports advanced defense and aerospace systems, focusing on mission-critical technologies used in real-world operational environments.

In this role, you’ll contribute across the full system lifecycle—from concept and design through integration, testing, and production support.

What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop system solutions
- Support system integration, testing, and validation activities
- Work with models, simulations, prototypes, and hardware/software systems
- Identify risks and support technical decision-making
- Help improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:
Required Skill Sets: · Typically Requires: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant Systems Engineering or Safety Engineering experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position. · Experience with: System Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Safety Engineering. · Active U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance · Desired Skill Sets: · Experience with DoD System Safety Program e.g. MIL-STD-882 · Experience with system and software safety implementation in Agile Development environment · Master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 6 years’ experience · Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Proposal Development Years of Experience Required: · minimum of 8 years of relevant Systems Engineering or Safety Engineering Safety Engineering experience · Education Level Required: · Typically, a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). Desired, Master’s degree in STEM How will the contractor’s success be measured? : · Maintaining early development and On Time document submittals, integration into engineering teams
