Senior RF Hardware Engineer-P3 - Cleared Off-Site

We’re looking for a Senior RF Hardware Engineer-P3 - Cleared Off-Site who enjoys working on complex, high-impact systems and collaborating across engineering teams.

This role supports advanced defense and aerospace systems, focusing on mission-critical technologies used in real-world operational environments.

In this role, you’ll contribute across the full system lifecycle—from concept and design through integration, testing, and production support.

What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop system solutions
- Support system integration, testing, and validation activities
- Work with models, simulations, prototypes, and hardware/software systems
- Identify risks and support technical decision-making
- Help improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:
Required Skill Sets: o Must be able to support occasional travel (both CONUS and OCONUS). Must be able to support emergency repair trips with little or no advanced notice. o Must be able to provide occasional after-hour call-in support. o Must be able to work at heights and successfully complete safety requirements for antenna/tower training. o Active and transferrable TS/SCI with polygraph U.S. government issued clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access prior to start date. o Prior experience supporting Operations and Maintenance (O&M) ground systems engineering activities for a satellite communications system. o Experience generating, analyzing, tracking, and managing requirements. o Experience with systems engineering developing and maintaining schematics, analysis, block diagrams, system Bill of Materials (BOMs), and design review packages. o Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Desired Skill Sets: o Influence design performance & cost trade-off studies for proposed engineering changes. o Contribute effectively on design teams and provide technical insight to the team members. o Apply previous knowledge and experience to provide recommendations for development of new operational concepts, architecture, and to increase efficiencies within the existing system. o Support design performance & cost trade-off studies for proposed engineering changes. o Proficient use of Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes. o Experience working with vendors for the timely repair and tracking of critical operational hardware. o Experience upgrading hardware supported by Windows and Linux based systems. o Previous experience working with systems supported by Linux operating systems. o Highly articulate with strong written and verbal communications skills. o Technical ability to identify and document system related capability enhancements through generation and submittal of White Papers and other submittals. - Years of Experience Required (if any): 4 - Education Level Required: Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
