Digital Design Engineer - P4

We’re looking for a Digital Design Engineer - P4 who enjoys working on complex, high-impact systems and collaborating across engineering teams.

This role supports advanced defense and aerospace systems, focusing on mission-critical technologies used in real-world operational environments.

In this role, you’ll contribute across the full system lifecycle—from concept and design through integration, testing, and production support.

What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop system solutions
- Support system integration, testing, and validation activities
- Work with models, simulations, prototypes, and hardware/software systems
- Identify risks and support technical decision-making
- Help improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications You Must Have: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Will consider degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology. - Minimum of 8 years of engineering digital circuit design experience to include at least 2 of the following:  Development and design of electronic circuit designs  Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to development of a complete hardware design, and verification via test and integration  Experience with PCB design process and expertise in tools used to design (schematic capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution. - A US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizen are eligible for a security clearance. - Ability to attain Special Program Access (SAP). Qualifications We Value: - Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering - Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis and design for production - Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools: DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX and Xilinx (Zynq Ultrascale, Vivado, Atrix) - Experience using PCB electronic circuit design software: HyperLynx signal integrity, power integrity, and analog simulation, Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB) - Complex circuit card assemblies between 16 and 32 layers - Constraint Editor System (CES) - Knowledge of software and/or FPGA code development - Experience leading a program transition from development to production - Demonstrated ability to manage technical and schedule risks and to identify cost reduction opportunities - Knowledgeable in cost/schedule development and management - Experience in managing schedule and resources to meet assigned milestones - Capable of functioning in multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects
