We’re looking for a Digital Design Engineer - P3 - Cleared Onsite who enjoys working on complex, high-impact systems and collaborating across engineering teams.
This role supports advanced defense and aerospace systems, focusing on mission-critical technologies used in real-world operational environments.
In this role, you’ll contribute across the full system lifecycle—from concept and design through integration, testing, and production support.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop system solutions
- Support system integration, testing, and validation activities
- Work with models, simulations, prototypes, and hardware/software systems
- Identify risks and support technical decision-making
- Help improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications You Must Have: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Will consider degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology. - Minimum of 5 years of engineering digital circuit design experience to include at least 2 of the following: Development and design of electronic circuit designs Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to development of a complete hardware design, and verification via test and integration Experience with PCB design process and expertise in tools used to design (schematic capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution. - A US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizen are eligible for a security clearance. - Ability to attain Special Program Access (SAP). Qualifications We Value: - Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering - Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis and design for production - Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools: DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX and Xilinx (Zynq Ultrascale, Vivado, Atrix) - Experience using PCB electronic circuit design software: HyperLynx signal integrity, power integrity, and analog simulation, Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB) - Complex circuit card assemblies between 16 and 32 layers - Constraint Editor System (CES) - Knowledge of software and/or FPGA code development - Experience leading a program transition from development to production - Demonstrated ability to manage technical and schedule risks and to identify cost reduction opportunities - Knowledgeable in cost/schedule development and management - Experience in managing schedule and resources to meet assigned milestones - Capable of functioning in multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects
