Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer

Overview
Seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and automate modern cloud‑native and on‑prem infrastructure. This role supports platform engineering, DevSecOps practices, and delivery of secure, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Deploy infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments using both automated IaC tool‑suites and manual configuration methods, ensuring consistent, reliable, and secure deployments
• Collaborate with Agile teams to plan, develop, and deliver high‑quality engineering work products, contributing to sprint activities and continuous improvement
• Provide troubleshooting support to quickly resolve configuration and operational issues
• Maintain understanding of Linux environments and operating system fundamentals
• Understand resource sizing and configuration mapping across multiple infrastructure services (DNS, NTP, LDAP, Cloud Services, etc.)
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of related experience
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical topics
• Hands-on experience managing Red Hat Linux environments
Required Technical Skills
• Deploying cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
• Experience with containerized environments: EKS, EKS Auto Mode, and Kubernetes
• Understanding of cloud vs. on‑prem deployments and configuring resources across both
Preferred Qualifications
• Broad knowledge of servers, networking, storage, and virtualization
• AWS architecture and integration experience
• DevSecOps experience with integrated security practices
• Experience with cloud metrics and logging dashboards (Grafana, Prometheus, Promtail, Loki)
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and automation scripting (Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Helm)
• Experience integrating COTS and FOSS technologies in secure environments
